According to the document, the Chengdu Eastern New Area will become a ‘new platform for the formation of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle’. In October 2019, according to a ranking compiled by the Milken Institute, a think-tank in the United States, which ranked 262 Chinese cities based on nine development indices, Chengdu even surpassed Shenzhen to top the list of Best-performing Chinese Cities. In order to stimulate industrial impetus and potential, incubate and cultivate local technological and innovative enterprises, and attract more technological and innovative firms to set up presence in the city, Chengdu created a ‘Unicorn Island’ in Tianfu New Area in the south of the city. Based on a statement, the gathering and growth of enterprises bring along busier population and cargo traffic between cities and as the national central city closest to Europe, Chengdu's status as an international hub is also becoming increasingly apparent. The Tianfu International Airport is now under construction and expected to operate in 2021, which will position Chengdu as the third city in the Chinese mainland behind Beijing and Shanghai to possess two of its own international airports. At the same time, Chengdu is also China's railway freight shipping centre for access to Europe. The departure of the China-Europe Railway Express from Chengdu has maintained its top spot in the country for three straight years. -- BERNAMA COVID-19: ECVV helps global buyers to purchase industrial, semi-finished products from China30/5/2020 KUALA LUMPUR, May 28 -- Global buyers still have to purchase China’s industrial products and semi-finished products to continue production and help their workforce return to work amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

The device, ‘TPD4162F’, is designed to drive motors in products such as air-conditioners, air purifiers and pumps. According to Toshiba in a statement, the mass production shipments begin today. Fabricated with a new process, TPD4162F reduces power dissipation about 10 per cent lower than that of Toshiba’s current IPD, TPD4152F – which will help to lower the power dissipation of devices into which it is integrated. TPD4162F has various control circuits, and IGBTs and FRDs are installed on the output stage, supporting direct drive of a brushless DC motor with square wave input signals from either a Hall sensor or a Hall IC without requiring a PWM controller IC. Various built-in protection circuits reduce the peripheral circuit count. Use of a small surface mount package, HSSOP31, can help reduce the size and height of motor control boards.
